
Dr. Collins Udanor is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science, University of Nigeria Nsukka. He holds a Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering. He has advanced training in the Internet of Things (2019,2020), Data Science School (2018.), a Certificate of Completion in Introduction to Data Science (IBM, 2019). He also has skills in Data Science skills in Deep Learning with Tensor Flow, Data analytic with Python, Anaconda, R, NodeXL, etc. He has project experiences in Network Virtualization, Cloud, and Edge Computing Installation with Synnefo and Ganeti. He has won several project proposals funded by UNESCO-HP (2009-2013) with contract No. 3250042751 of 14th May 2012 on ‘Sustaining the Research and Grid Computing Components of the University of Nigeria’s UNESCO-HP Brain Gain Project. TETFund Institutional Based Research (IBR) intervention grant with reference number: TETFUND/DESS/UNN/NSUKKA/RP/VOL.VIII of 2016 on ‘Deployment of an e-Infrastructure for Academic Research’, Google (2011), Nigeria’s Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund, 2016), etc.
He leads a University research group, the High Performance and Intelligent Computing group (HiPIC), a cross-disciplinary research group based in the Department of Computer Science. He has successfully supervised more than ten (10) graduate students in AI and Machine learning. Dr. Collins Udanor has more than 30 peer-reviewed publications in international journals and conference proceedings indexed and ranked by Clarivate Analytics, Springer, Scopus, Scimago, etc.
